Manaia Tuwhare-Hoani (Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Wai) is a founding member of Māori-led spoken word group Ngā Hine Pūkōrero. She is the granddaughter of poet Hone Tuwhare and the Loading Docs 2021 documentary Wind Song and Rain followed her journey back to his homestead at Kākā Point hoping to find connection and arohatanga.
