Ruby Tui is a professional rugby player, winning a silver medal with the Black Fern Sevens team at the 2016 Summer Olympics and a gold at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She was a member of the Black Ferns team that won the 2021 Rugby World Cup. Her bestseller autobiography is Straight Up and she is a finalist for 2023 New Zealander of the Year.
