Tā Pou Temara (Ngāi Tūhoe) is professor of Māori Philosophy at Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi and is a cultural authority on waikōrero, tikanga and karakia. He has been a member of the Waitangi Tribunal since 2008 and sits on Kīngi Tūheitia’s ‘Council of Twelve’. He is the author of Te Rautakitahi o Tūhoe ki Ōrākau.
