Alie Benge is a non-fiction writer whose essays have been published in The Spinoff, Takahē, Turbine | Kapohau, Pantograph Punch and others. She has a master’s from Victoria University’s International Institute of Modern Letters and was joint winner of the 2017 Landfall Essay Competition. Her debut essay collection is Ithaca.
