Anke Richter, originally from Germany, is an international freelance journalist, author and foreign correspondent. Her ten-year research into cults from Centrepoint to Gloriavale resulted in her book Cult Trip: Inside the world of coercion & control (HarperCollins). Three previous books were published in German.
