Maggie Tweedie
Maggie Tweedie grew up at Lake Tutira, a small village in rural Hawkes Bay. A broadcaster for 8 years, Maggie began in community radio in Wellington and worked on-air in Melbourne, before joining Radioactive.FM. In 2018 she became the first sole female Breakfast Host of Radioactive.FM and wrapped up in Jan 2024. She works at RNZ presenting the RNZ Music Pocket Edition on Nights and as a rural journalist for the Award Winning radio show Country Life.

A book enthusiast Maggie is a passionate reader and freelance writer. She has interviewed many authors from Clementine Ford, Sinead Gleeson, Chike Frankie Edozien, Catherine Chidgey, Linda Burgess, Jane Goodall, Pip Adam, Joy Cowley, Tayi Tibble, Sam Te Kani and Dom Hoey.
