Musician, performer, academic and songwriter Matthew Bannister was an original member of Dunedin band Sneaky Feelings. Matthew has written several books on music including Positively George Street, the first book on the Dunedin Sound, White Boys, White Noise on 1980s indie music and a forthcoming 33 1/3 book on the first Front Lawn album. He currently teaches cultural theory at Wintec/TePūkenga's School of Media Arts.
