Jess Hong is a NZ-Chinese actor based in Tāmaki Makaurau. Since graduating from Toi Whakaari drama school in 2018, Jess has performed on stage for the Pop Up Globe, Auckland Theatre Company, Te Pou, and Silo Theatre. Her on screen appearances include NZ’s first Chinese bilingual series 'Inked', 'The Brokenwood Mysteries' and ‘My Life is Murder.’ She will soon make her cinematic debut in local horror film 'Grafted’, directed by Sasha Rainbow. Jess currently stars in Netflix's genre-bending sci-fi series from the creators of Game of Thrones, and based on the best-selling book by Liu Cixin, '3 Body Problem.'
